For the last 13 years I have been practising as a qualified integrative therapist which means I draw upon various modalities in my work using whatever feels most suited to each individual client.

For some, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) will be more comfortable as it is structured and works to achieve goals.  For others, an unstructured person centred approach provides the space in which the client feels able to talk about and work through their issues.

Although my expertise lie in the field of alcohol and drug addiction I work with adults presenting with a wide spectrum of issues.

I consider a trusting counselling relationship to be the pivotal aspect of your journey and I offer a safe, confidential and non judgemental space in which to develop this.  A space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings and move towards a fulfilling and positive future.

My qualifications include: -

  • Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling

  • Certificate in Counselling Skills

  • Diploma in Addiction Therapy

  • BSc Hons in Nutritional Science

  • National Diploma in Eating Disorders

I am a member of the National Counselling Society (DF00P05) and adhere to their ethical code of practice. I engage in personal clinical supervision and I'm also committed to a programme of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
